For no reason that I can discern, I have suddenly been getting this error when trying to use ACR from E+:  I am pretty sure I am doing nothing different from many other usages. I tried recycling power, but that did not fix the problem. |

Hello Tom My guess is that you open the image in 16-bit mode. Please, make sure "8-bit" option is selected in ACR window:  |

Sigh; yes, thank you so much Andrei! I had followed a tutorial about ACR and it said to switch to 16-bits. I totally forgot about that!

Glad that it worked, Tom.
I think, the next version of "Edit in ACR" script will fix the "16-Bit" issue automatically.
