DXO Labs is giving away DXO OpticsPro 9 absolutely gratis until 30 June. The software runs on both Windows and Mac. Here is the link
I took advantage of the Free OpticsPro 9 when they were giving it away at Christmas; the more I use it, the better I like it, especially their "Prime" noise removal.
One little quirk that myself and several others had issues with though, the program would launch immediately and work flawlessly on Windows Home Premium, but would refuse to launch on Windows 7 or 10 "Pro" machines.
After a couple months of back and forth troubleshooting with their tech staff, they sent me a link to a new DirectX download; I installed it and the program now launches without fail.
The problem was not a version 9 only situation, as their latest version also refused to launch on a Pro machine.

On a poverty-level Kentucky budget, a 24-exposure roll of film would have two Christmases and a summer vacation on it and we might have to wait another six months before being able to afford developing the film.
I still have trouble remembering that it doesn't cost anything to take thousands of pictures; it just almost seems impossible to be true.
