It was a slow week in the gallery, but still some very fine images to pick from.
hmca gives us a wonderful sunset shot, Colter Bay Sunset rainy day is a simple and colorful shot from blackmutt that makes me wonder what (or who) is hiding under the umbrellas (and makes me think of a Rihanna song...) Sepiana always does some wonderful treatment on her photos and An American Icon is a great example.
My selection of the week is Sunol Station from dandc - A perfect treatment for the subject matter!
Thank you Andy for the IOW nod and for judging this week! Congratulations to Helen, Judy and Sepiana as well for their outstanding images! We went to a restaurant during the holiday weekend that happened to feature a display from a western-themed photographer - after admiring his work I wanted to attempt an edit that somewhat had his same feel (dark sepia and a little gritty) - inspiration can come from so many places ;^)
Trying to share it as I see it . . . Panasonic FZ-150, PSE9, On1 Perfect Photo Suite and an occasional touch of the NIK Collection
Thanks for judging, Andy. Dan, I love the way you processed your image.....perfect for the picture! I do want to add that on my laptop when I click the link for Dan's image it appears to download but it doesn't show. I was able to see it by looking through the latest gallery posts. Congratulations to Judy and Sepiana and thanks for including my image.
