I have been using Lightroom for a long time (Lightroom 6 > Lightroom CC > Lightroom Classic CC) and I am happy with it. I am not switching to Luminar despite of it being advertised as a VERY serious competitor to Lightroom.
I haven't used Luminar, so cannot comment on this either.
Just curious why you may be thinking about the switch? Is it due to the recent changes Adobe made regarding Lightroom?
I'm still on LR5 and actually quite content. It is just that I have been seeing some comments from folks who have the non CC LR6 and are looking for an alternative such as Luminar. I guess I am just curious if anyone has any experience using Luminar.

I have used Luminar for a couple of years and it has gotten better and better. This new release is the first version that will have an organizer - will have to see how it handles large catalog, keywords and metadata. This is also the first version for WINDOWS.
I am truly amazed at how well Luminar works on images. Being able to add a mask to an individual filter is great.
Will have to wait and see now well the organizer functions.
