This FAQ applies only if you are using the "Add image to post via imgbb.com" button to post images in your Individual User Gallery. It does not apply anywhere else! These are the advanced instructions for members who want to have a clickable thumbnail that goes to a full size image. the basic instructions can be found here.
(Background: The upload plugin and the Gallery plugin do not work well together, necessitating the following procedure.)
Click on all images to enlarge them
Here are the steps to follow:
In your gallery, click the Add Image button. Click the Add image to post via imgbb.com button. Browse to the image on your computer or drag-and-drop a file.
At this point you have a string inserted in the comment field; something like this:
imgbb may insert an advertisement string below the image string. That needs to be deleted.
Select and cut the highlighted parts of the string (between the img tags) and put them in the Image URL box as shown below.
This will create the thumbnail image. Now you want to create a link to the full size image. First, copy and paste this text:

[img][/img] It should now look similar to this:
Finally, add your title and comments so you get something that looks like:
