Sharing these unedited shots keeps coming to my mind so figured I better do it before I forget.
SOOC camera - zoomed out shot of the area (35mm Focal Length = 115mm, so not fully zoomed out).
Un-cropped and Un-edited version of the shot posted in the gallery (35mm Focal Length = 600mm)
The area is pretty desolate and we were on the only gravel road in the area so I guess that's what caught their attention even though we were pretty far away. The shrub coloring is pretty subdued - the area is above 6,000' elevation.
Trying to share it as I see it . . . Panasonic FZ-150, Sony RX10 IV, PSE9, On1 Perfect Photo Suite and an occasional touch of the NIK Collection
Thanks for sharing, Dan! Your before/after (IOW mention) gives us a much better understanding of what can be achieved when processed with a creative vision. LOVE where you took this image (edit-wise). Also interesting to ready what got the horses' attention. It would be great if more members shared before/after shots on this board.
