Good machro I think. The centre of the flower look like crochet work.

Very creative. I like the small birds, the texture, and the twinkle on the tree. Nicely done.

Well thought out. I too, think the twinkle looks good.

Helen Very nice .. both of them. Lovely antique-like textures fitting for the old Saint Nic and village scene. Clive

Helen - aren't textures fun? I can't remember if I posted this in the past...love this building with it's paint job. I added textures, the birds and the flower in the window. i.ibb.co/ncPCSc7/edited-2.jpg

Thanks Clive and Judy. I can see why you're drawn to that building, Judy. I don't remember seeing that one before.
Judy, I actually love working with textures. I usually add them to flower images and occasionally to regular photographs that I have taken. But I never thought to create a scene using Christmas props like I have seen you do so that got me thinking in a whole new direction.

Love both of these Helen. Lovely vintage look to them - especially the first one and the fonts are both perfect. Love the sentiment on your second one...so true. It’s amazing the difference textures can make and when used together with a blend mode the variety of effects than can be achieved is wonderful.
