Andy,
I have been using their software for many years; I have about 20 of their apps. Most of them are available as standalones only. The ones I have come from their Hobbyist and Enthusiast Collection.
Technically:
Their apps work without a glitch. Their interface is intuitive, user-friendly. The plug-ins are compatible with both Elements and Photoshop.
Results:
The default settings can produce very strong results but they are easy to tweak and you can save your customized presets.
Some of their apps yield results which resemble the Topaz apps such as Glow, Simplify, Impression. They also resemble the effects available in the Fractalius plug-in. This is noticeable in the JixiPixi apps to create painterly effects.
Favorites:
My favorites are the ones that generate "special" effects; they are worth paying for them. Here are some examples:
Thanks Sepiana! I may have to try one out. I own Impression, but it isn't supported anymore and they got rid of the plug-in awhile ago.

Andy, you are most welcome!
Impression doesn't work for me any more either. The only way I can access it is via Topaz Studio 2. I even tried a fresh download from their Legacy Programs & License Keys page. It is a no-go!

Impression1 was the reason I never wanted to upgrade to Catalina as it was not supposed to work being it is a 32 bit (?) program. I recently bit the bullet and upgraded to Big Sur (the highest I can go on my computer) but kept my version of Photoshop 22.5.9. I was pleasantly surprised that Impression works if I open this older version of Photoshop. Not sure why and don't know if you might be able to get an older version of PS but just thought I would add this in case it might be helpful to anyone.

I reinstalled the plug-in version and it is working in both PSE and Photoshop for me.

Thank you so much, Andy! After reading the above I copied the Impression plug-in from my old version of PS and pasted into the plug-in folder of my upgraded version. I love Impression 1.....very happy about this!
