Controli worked like a charm. thanks Major Major Storkington; Jai Johnson has a series of masks on white called Unpredictables. She put out a video using Corel Paintshop on how to change the background to colour; and I was trying to convert that to use in PSE 14. Under Image I don't have Adjustment

How do I invert using Photoshop Elements. Using Jai Johnson's Unpredicables, and trying to put one onto a coloured background. Instructions from Corel Paintshop call for "Invert to get negative image". Cant find how to do this. Help.

Just downloaded both Topaz upgrades - Adjust and Simplify, and both have vanished from my Filters. What did I do wrong? I restarted the computer but they are not there!!!

Yes that is kind of what I had in mind. Many thanks. I am wondering if the liquefy tool would also give a nice effect. Will try that. Jean

Oh my, that is so complicated and interesting - are you using PSE. I have 14. Not quite what I had in mind. I don't want to alter the face of the lion at all. But like the effects to the mane. Thanks.

This is a hard one to explain what I would like to do. I have a side view of a lion's head with beautiful mane. Looking to make the mane into sort of bubbles that evaporate into the background. Weird description, I know, but I have seen the idea and now cant find an example. Sepiana, I know you can read my mind - help.

I visited Tenikwa Rehabilitation Center in South Africa....massaged and walked with cheetahs. Will check on your place. Jean

60 hours of trying to revert. Finally turned off computer this evening and held finger on button for 15 seconds. Then turned back on and problem has gone. Thank goodness, don't have to spend money on a computer geek. Thanks for all the advice. Jean

Thanks to both of you. The problem is that firstly the window says Do not turn off your computer. When I first turned it on yesterday at 7 a.m. after the Dell logo I immediately got the blue screen with the above wording. So I cannot get into System restore; can only turn it off at the PC. A computer geek told me to wait 48 hours, that is tomorrow morning. Ugh. Yes, I do have Windows 7 Professional.

My computer has been showing "Failure configuring Windows updates. Reverting changes". That has been on my computer now for 28 hours, and I dont know what to do.

Told you I was stubborn. Using transparent background, made selection, stroke outline selection. Filter/Distort/Liquify and then warp. Voila! just what I wanted.

Thanks Sepiana and BillieJean. Watched both the videos; and worked on Panos OOB. The latter is more of the warping I want, but I want something more intricate. I also have page curls to work with. Guess I will have to find someone with Photoshop and work on some templates. I am stubborn, I will find a way. Jean

Yes, I can transform, but not curl the frame.
