I am working on a huge scrapbooking project and am looking for interesting, free digital layouts. If I do a search I find very few interesting templates that are NOT free (usually have to purchase them in a kit) and many are pinterest-related, so I can't get by the sign-up screen for Pinterest. Any suggestions (....I am using an album that fits 8X8' pages). I could create my own layout, but have many photos to deal with and am simply being lazy p.s. if I do end up purchasing a kit, I am looking for geometric designs that are linked into an interesting pattern (triangles, squares, circles).

I have my original email from Paypal and there was a reference number on it, so I decided to try downloading the Codex and using that number. The software downloaded just fine and I was not asked for a serial number which was totally weird. Now everything is working again.
However, I now have a new Windows10 problem related to the keyboard. I have a gaming computer (haha...not that I'm a gamer) and I had deactivated the scrolling pad (or whatever it's called) because my cursor kept skipping all over the place when I typed. Now my scrolling pad has reactivated itself so I have to walk back through the sands of time to find out which particular sand deactivates it! [sigh]. ....and in photoshop I have to use the cursor to scroll through modes (i.e. Multiply, Screen, Luminosity....) whereas before I could use my mouse.
Aside from all that, I am really liking the look and feel of the new Windows.

Major Major, I downloaded the Belarc Advisor for Windows10 and WOW, it showed up a ton of stuff!!! However, not the program I was looking for, or interestingly enough, some other things such as my Perfect Effects. I might just have to bite the bullet and purchase the codex again; ....I will wait to see if I hear back from them first.

Sepiana, I tried downloading the Microsoft Codex from your links, but it will not download to Windows10. Interestingly enough, I did find a Windows Codex in my apps, but it doesn't seem to work. ...so back to FastPicture, which I did have, but can't find the serial number for, so I've contacted their website for help. I suppose I could buy another FP Codex pac, but it's the principle of the thing..........and the Cdn dollar is so friggin low against the US$ these days........

Yep, I mean the Codec. Is that different from Fast Picture Viewer which I can't find on my pc to uninstall and reinstall.

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and am happy about some things, not so happy with others - particularly the way my email looks, acts and does not synch properly with my webmail. I used to be able to see thumbnail images of my camera files when I was moving or deleting files from/to my camera. I remember I had to install a viewer of some sort to do this, but can't remember what the piece of code was called. Does anyone remember, and if so, will it work under Windows 10, or do I need something else? (In this image you can see the way the older files showed an image in the thumbnail, but not the newer images....)

Love the bird sanctuary image Angelag! Congrats all, and thanks for including my duck Simone! p.s. I think it is not that far for my duck to fly to your sanctuary in Delta, Agg.....just across the channel.......

Nice berries Alex. This is what I have discovered so far: Freezing in layers helps to "place" the flowers and prevent them from floating to the top. I have also discovered that larger pieces of clear (white) seaglass that you find at the beach will work to hold them in place. Presumably clear glass would work as anchors too. I have been using cooled boiled water which seems to work fine. I also discovered that I can only leave the ice block in the freezer one night - more than one night and the center seems to heave like frost heaves on icy roads and you get an ugly white mess in the center. Oh....one last thing, ....when I photograph my iceblock I leave it until it melts slightly so that the flowers are a little clearer to see.
I also did an experiment using clear gelatin in the center of the ice, but while the result was interesting after the first overnight freezer stay, it frost-heaved the second night and turned into a mess that I had to throw out. .....and I forgot I had used some of my best seaglass in the ice-gelatin block so I lost them when the garbage truck merrily trundled away with them.........
