Sepiana - How does it work? I went into my 5.05 version and the update said I was up to date. Do you just download and then install and it automatically finds the old program? ~bruce.

I use On1 Photo Suite 9.5's B&W with its many presets and adjustments that you can make to them. ~bruce.

I'm on a Mac and never really liked PSE for organizing. I just started with Lightroom 6 - and really never had any organization before then except by year and event. I followed Scott Kelby's recommendation of having a large hard drive to have all of my photos in before starting up lightroom. So far I have been happy with how Lightroom works. ~bruce.

Yes Tom, there are lots. I have over 25,000 images (not all good) not including the film versions that I shot before going digital. Attached is a photo of a bear at Katmai National Park in Alaska from last year.

Greetings to all - figured I should "introduce" myself as I haven't done that on here yet. I was in the old village for a long, long time - sometimes active, sometimes not so much. I am seriously into National Parks of the United States having visited 55 of the 59. I will be visiting Hawaii Volcanos and American Samoa this Fall. And when I say visit - I mean spending at least a day (usually more) in each of the parks (including Gates of the Arctic and Kobuk Valley!) I hope to finish the adventure next year to co-incide with the 100th anniversary of the National Park system. I actively use Lightroom 6, On1 Perfect Photo Suite 9.5 and Elements 13. I usually print my own photos at home using my Epson Photo R1900 - prints up to 13X19. My Mac Pro Tower has 4 hard drives in it and I'm running off an OWC Mercury Accelsior E2 PCI Express SSD. I recently retired from the Post Office and retirement is excellent and getting better. More free time to learn and use my camera (Nikon D7100) and of course the ins and outs of all the great photo software. Best wishes to all in your search for the "perfect photo"! ~bruce.

What is sort of amazing to me - is that I haven't received the invite to pre-purchase this yet! And I have been a regular user/udater/proponent since buying into the program starting with #7. A little disappointed i guess. ~bruce.

According to some pre-release info from On1 - "The all new ON1 Photo 10 is the next generation, coming this fall. ON1 Photo 10 is not just a name change, it is a ground up rework of the apps. The new version will deliver seamless app integration, up to 4x faster performance, fast module switching, an integrated mobile workflow, modern user interface, require less memory, and will still include all of the essential ON1 photo editing tools photographers love." On1 has been updating this program pretty much every year - with each seeming to have better enhancements, workflow, etc. I have become very comfortable with 9.5 so not sure if I will upgrade or not. I'm sort of waiting to see some preliminary specs before pulling the trigger. I have not experienced the problems that Sepiana mentioned. ~bruce.

Sepiana - on the Mac side - with a purchased version of 6 - I only have "Font size: Small (default) or Large". There is no percentage size and no "Restart Lightroom" button at the bottom of the dialog. After setting these - I have restarted and the fonts are still on the smaller side. ~bruce.

And to throw a wrench into it - I use Lightroom, Elements, and Photo Suite. Each has their pluses and minuses - and I try to take and use the pluses from each of them ~bruce.
