Marianne, Do you use an anti-virus program? If so, then turn it off for the download. Then remember to turn it back on. Vladimir Thanks for the tips! Good idea! But I had no problem downloading, I just had problem with the Adobe site. Once i found another location (the trial version), it downloaded just fine.

I don't do slideshows, but I would use Lightroom if I'd make one. I think there are dozens of tutorials out there. I would strongly advise you to keep a copy of your pictures on an external hard disk before you delete any pictures. Slideshow in Lightroom , Julieanne Kost.

I (almost) always get to the last "unread" picture. I click the "new" button.
Marianne,
Would you please elaborate on this? I am confused. When I click on the "New" button, it takes me to the individual user gallery which was updated most recently. However, it doesn't work (at least for me) when I am already viewing someone's gallery. The images are displayed with the oldest entry first and the most recent entry last.
Yes, it's displayed with the newest entries last, and it's a good idea to have it with newest first. What I mean, if I haven't viewed the last picture in the gallery, and tick the new button, I get to the last picture. I'll attach screenshots so you can see what I mean. Hope this makes sense. This won't work if you already have seen the picture.
Hope this make sense. This will of course not work if you already have viewed the last picture.

I think I know what you mean. Ie. you have a picture of a person , you select the person and transform it to make it smaller. Then there will be a "hole" in the background? If you want the person to be in the same picture/ background, you will go about it a little different.
What I would do is like Ken here, but with one extra step. When I have this smaller person on it's own layer, I'll go back to the copied background. I'll then use the content aware tool and select the person. move him out of the way. Let the tool work its way and when the person is moved, but still selected I press the backspace key. Now you go back to the smaller person and place him where you want.
Hope this is understandable,

Thank you so much, Sepiana. I save that link! What an effort you make! One would need a map to find anything in that site! -The chat is in english though, but I think I'll manage if I take my time.

Marianne,
I believe you. I am just intrigued why the buttons are not responding. I am not a computer expert. I don't really know what is going on. It could be a browser problem, etc.
As a side note -- I have been following the reports in the Adobe forums to see if someone else is having the same kind of problem. No luck so far.
If you don't feel comfortable calling Adobe, you could just post in the Adobe forums (links posted earlier in this thread). You are bound to get help from the Adobe staff.
Thanks so much, Sepiana! I'm relieved that you believe me. As for the browser; I tried Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. Safari and Firefox wouldn't even let me open Adobe's site. -Maybe it's due to much traffic, my county is very small and may have to wait.. (Can that even happen a part from in my imagination.. haha.) -I think I'm good for now, since I got to download the trial version. I will rock the boat if something goes wrong when I shall purchase it. Thanks for the support. Hi marriane. Just a thought, try clearing internet history and deleting cookies. Sometimes that's helped me when the web is playing up. X Thanks, Shaun. That was my thought too. I cleared the log and deleted the cookies. That helped as far as the amount of items regards, but not on anything else.

Have fun with the new toy! I don't know anything about Olympus cameras, but I'm sure it is a good one and you'll enjoy it. Thank you! I'm pretty amazed by it. It has a lot of functions, and are quite sharp and quick. It's a big camera in a small house. It's for travelling and to "put in my pocket"
