That image worked very nicely Sepiana . I particularly like the way the water and buildings came out. Tony Tony, thanks! I really appreciate your feedback.

Glad to see PeteB using the full Duffryn Paint Effect with a really good looking result as is VickiD 's salad (which now looks too good to eat).

That came out very nicely - it's an effect that seems to work well on buildings but obviously works with horses too!

Tony, not sure. The background was one of my painted boards I use for still life. Thanks

Trying the paint tutorial again. Hoping for less detail, I increased the blur Radius to 50 and the Threshold to 75. The two brushes used were watercolor and wet media. I was not happy with the final results, so I cheated. I added a filter from Topaz Simplify (Simply Simple) and lowered the amount.

After using smart blur normal and edges and setting the blend mode to multiply I used an expressionism filter in Topaz Studio 2. Butterfly from files: Before: After: Tony

Picture of a day out to a theme park, followed Tony's menu and then added new yellow filled layer, set blend mode to saturation 30% to give little glow.

This is really a fun tut with so many possibilities.....love seeing everyone's take. I agree - I didn't expect so much variety in the contributions. Good stuff everyone and keep them coming! Tony

Images from Pexels and Pixabay. Followed tut and introduced levels to darken parts and for the figure also applied the posterize filter. Originals
