Just wanted to encourage you to create scrapbooking memories. This layout shows how simple a layout can be. The important thing is preserving memories - not creating a complex project. Being afraid that simplicity cannot be the goal can make one hesitate in attempting this 'art form' Let's see what you can create. It doesn't have to be a momentous occasion. Feel free to post your designs here. It can be as simple as a day on the Lake...

Unfortunately, this is what "Lake" Arlington looks like today. They claimed they fixed the leak - only the rains in spring will tell the whole story. For those who haven't seen my other posts about Lake Arlington, it is a man-made rainwater retention pond. All over Florida, rain from the streets is diverted to either wet or dry retention ponds. To create a lake, you line the excavation so the water does not drain. With a dry retention area, you do not line it and the water eventually seeps into the ground. No liner, no lake. In subdivisions, these "lakes" are created as a selling point - a nice home on a lake. And, even with the problems (this is the second time we had a rip) it has been such fun to watch the water fowl visit our backyard. And yes, that is mud - lots and lots of mudClick on photo to get a better look.Photo: cats4jan

Your page is ‘simply’ beautiful Janice. Nicely composed and very pleasing to the eye. Love the colours too. I also like how you have framed the photos. I hope they have fixed the problem with the leak and you can enjoy watching the water fowl again come Spring.
