Tried another one...still not getting it but better than my first attempt. I need to find better flowers....not so tightly grouped.....but may try again.  |

I like the idea of the flowers instead of bare branches. The butterflies are also a nice touch and that's a lovely shade of blue/lilac. Another try. This is hard! I call it 'Winter' It looks like winter too Pat. Such a majestic bird and the deer is sweet. I like the positioning of the (animal tracks?) as they appear to outline the birds face somewhat. I think we learn so much by trying things like this which may be out of our comfort zone. I know I do. It’s remembering it all that’s the problem. |

Well, I sure like this technique and your results. Too complex for me to follow with my limited PSE skill set. Yesterday, I took this photo of a sundog (here) and saw the windblown hair in it and thought of you skilled folks. Below is what I "saw." Perhaps one of you can use the linked image for a triple exposure.  |

I’ve never heard of sundogs Clive. Learning all the time on this forum.
What a great photo and as whippet said I wouldn’t have thought of that idea but it is indeed terrific.
I may just take you up on your very generous offer to allow us to play with your photo. Just don’t hold your breath waiting for a result as I shall have to think about this.

That's really nice Lillias, done a few in the past using blend modes and just done this one, 1st image made B/W, middle 2nd image 50% opacity and used layer mask to remove lower part of image, top 3rd image removed background and then made B/W.  |

You have created a very nice scene here Jim. I particularly like the tree spreading across the forefront of the image and the bird.
