And here's one that all you Americans would categorise under the letter 'e', but here in the UK we call it an Aubergine, so it begins with an 'a'!
(Not the best specimen - it's been sitting in the fridge whilst I was away!) Bayla

Sepiana - quintessential city living. I've been in the suburbs so long that I've forgotten what it's like to have alleys.
Oh, the hours I spent playing and hanging out in the alley with my friends. One of our houses had an area on the side of the house that had a ledge with grass. Perfect for hanging out. And, one house had a wall surrounding the property and we used to sit on the wall.
You've really brought back some memories today.

Yes, we still have these little alley "gems" around here in the old parts of town. I just had to drive around a bit to find them. The problem was . . . which alley to capture. We have so many!!!

Tom -- Beautiful interpretation! I love the artsy effect. Hang it on the wall!
Dennis -- The letter A multiplied by four (Arms, Armour, Ardent, Admirer) . Very clever and a great capture! How did you think of it?
Bayla – Glad you didn’t give up. The Arches are perfect for this theme. The collage effect raises your entry another notch.
Helen -- I really like how you approached this challenge. You captured an objective (concrete) subject -- Apricots and a subjective (abstract) one – Anticipation. Great job!
Bill -- One can never go wrong with A for Automobile. It is always a winner to me. I love it!
