Sepiana - that is starting to look very much like an old painting - and, as you know, I'm very fond of perspective like that! Tony, thanks! I appreciate your feedback.

I'm sorry I took so long to catch up with this one. It was really fun and I'd love to play with it more (and will at some point!). Anyway, this is an old photo I took at a local state park...there's an area along a trail where these dragonflies are fairly abundant. Problem with them is that you can't get them to pose for you--LOL!
I added a levels adjustment layer at the end and followed the tutorial--which was really easy! Thanks, Tony.

I hope this is allowed...but I was looking back over work I did quite some years ago and came across this page where I applied the pointillism effect. This was done using the now defunct Serif Craft Artist 2 software. Image from Pixabay Kit used - Softly Spring by Rosie H Designs

Some really impressive results from everyone and interesting to see the variations in the techniques as well as other versions of the pointillism effect - and of course it's in my rules to try different methods of achieving the same effect even if the software used is now defunct! Thanks to all for playing and there's still time to give it another try!
