Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week's theme was a joint suggestion by Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew -- dennis9. (Thanks, Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew!)

View from my chair at the kitchen table. Cloudy/hazy this morning.
Adding Tuesday's lunch view with some beautiful clouds in the sky.

The ships that had been visiting Portland for fleet week are all sailing out today. These folks staked out a perfect place to watch them head downriver and out to sea. Thanks for the theme Sepiana.

A couple of seats with views of rather muddy water. Confession: the first seat had a rather ugly green 45 gallon drum for garbage by the seat. I used the new remove tool in Photoshop - one click and it was gone! Tony

The "seat with a view" photos are amazing. All heartfelt. what a restful view you have.....would love to sit in that chair in the early morning. It is most peaceful when the wind is down, but we usually only sit there in the evenings. Even in July and August most mornings are chilly at this elevation.

The Battle of Britain Memorial on the White Cliffs between Folkestone and Dover gives me my seat with a view. The airman is seated quite simply on the ground and contemplates the English Channel, where the historic conflict took place. It is always a moving sight and stops me in my tracks as I trudge along what is now the English Coast Path. i.ibb.co/thPs7D5/View.jpgBrenda

View from my chair at the kitchen table. Cloudy/hazy this morning. Helen, this is a nice view despite the weather not cooperating. You still got a seat with a view to fulfill this challenge.

Perfect for a hot day - a seat with a serene view over the lake. Dennis Dennis, great idea getting close to the seat, drawing the viewers into this serene view. Very effective composition!

The patio and fire pit at our humble summer place. Clive, nice place to set up a chair to enjoy the view. Spot-on focus from foreground to background.

Bill, and you got a perfect shot, with layers of interest from front to back, while making the seat/human element the star of the show.

A couple of seats with views of rather muddy water. Confession: the first seat had a rather ugly green 45 gallon drum for garbage by the seat. I used the new remove tool in Photoshop - one click and it was gone! Tony, my favorite is the 2nd image. The seat facing the leading lines of the water edges, drawing the viewers into the frame. It make us wonder what lies beyond that bend in the water flow.
