Cool challenge. Thanks. Hostas and a fern (with a seedling tree poking through). In our yard this morning. Clive, good composition technique -- fill the frame with shades of Green. Nicely done! |

I'll go with hibiscus yellow - now outside after a winter indoors and still looking happy! Tony, Yellow is definitely the dominant color in this hibiscus. It stands out against the dark background. |

The dominant colour of our local buses, seen here at the Bus Station, is RED. Dennis Dennis, and RED it is. The bright RED of a London icon -- the double-decker. Great capture! |

Brenda Brenda, great job! Two images/two different dominant colors. My favorite is the 1st image. Great composition -- the Blue sky gets all the attention, with the help of the path leading lines. (Also, Blue is my favorite color.) |

The dominant colour for this lighthouse on the cliffs east of Dover is white. Matthew Matthew, what a finding -- White as the dominant color! Great job capturing the details of this architectural "jewel". |
