I attempted to give this an old victorian kind of look. Duplicated the original and took the duplicate into Smart Photo Editor and applied the Pen and Ink Drawing on Paper Towel texture effect by Texan. Back in PSE I used the overlay blend mode blending the two together. I added a watercolour texture from Brusheezy on top and gave that the Colour Burn blend mode. Top layer I introduced a frame from HiClipart and used the Multiply blend mode. This made the bird too dark so I extracted the bird from the original and placed it on the layer below the Pen and Ink layer and used a levels adjustment to lighten the bird a little and after resizing everything to fit within the frame I was done.  |
