Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week's theme is the opposite of last week's theme. This time . . . grab your camera and capture not a detail of the car but the entire car.

I would have liked to submit an image taken from above for a unique perspective. However, looking out you would think that cars only came in three colors....black, white and some variation of grey. Going out to the side parking lot I was rewarded with this treat for the eyes.

Was passing by a car graveyard today so had to stop for a couple of pictures - both Chevys of different vintages. Been a while since they were on the road! Tony

If you drive around a small village you might come across some older cars. The Village of Cowley did not disappoint. 1958 Chev Biscayne Dodge sedan ca 1950 Nash Metropolitan from the 50s.

Terrific finds, Clive. Love that "Salt & Pepper"! Thanks Helen. I recall the Nash cars when I was growing up. Yes, the S&P name is quite fun. This is in a fenced compound and the guy has a lot of rusting, old cars. The other two are in a parking lot of a many-times-failed restaurant in Cowley. I think the property is own by a biker-looking guy (nice man) who once owed the only gas station in the village next door. The mayor (ex mayor?) has a nice black Plymouth from about 1963. It is sometimes parked on the street but today was in his garage ... the garage door was open.

both Chevys of different vintages. Been a while since they were on the road! Cool pix, Tony. I believe the first car is a 1961 Chevy. The older one is probably in the mid-late 1930's. Its radiator emblem looks like it says "Kaiser" on it though?

Great photos, Clive. Way back in the day I owned a black and silver '58 Chevy.

A couple from my archives: A vintage Desoto - looks like a late '40's model, and a 1957 Ford station wagon.

One more from me ... this time my own car. Taken on the Canby, Oregon Ferry this morning, crossing the Willamette River.
