Mike, great idea and execution! Selective colorization was perfect for this image. How did you do the "bubbly" effect? It is intriguing.

This one was very timely for me.
I want to get back into doing still life including high key - which I have never really been able to 'do'.
So my first effort was triggered by the white background and I tried a high key image:
Then I thought about trying a low key one just out of interest. The selections are a bit rough and there is some clumsy cloning and spot healing but if I were to do it for real I would be using a black background so I wasn't too bothered about that:

Mike, great idea and execution! Selective colorization was perfect for this image. How did you do the "bubbly" effect? It is intriguing. Thanks Sepiana. The bubbly effect is actually a texture I have. I think I got it from Flickr Texture & Backgrounds Group. I think it is raindrops on a window.
