kdcintx , I like the way you chose to just take the road from the starter and build on the idea to create your dangerous curve! Not a road that I'd like to be driving on! kathylee , I sent you a PM with some ideas that you could try to get your image to fit the challenge.

Used Distressed Textures+, an app for the phone to create a grungy textured look and cropped. It's a fun app but it's going to take me awhile to get comfortable with what I can do with it.  |

- Applied Topaz BW Effects (Milk Memories). - Applied a texture by Deluzion (Beige Brush Strokes, Multiply blending mode, 25% Opacity) - Created the border effect with Filter Forge (Artistic Noise Frame).  |

Thought I would warm things up a bit so I used a Photomorphis Texture from their Degrees of Radiance set and gave it a linear burn blend mode. I applied a levels adjustment layer to brighten the result just a little and created a stamped layer. Below the stamped layer I introduced a watercolour paper by Digital Scrapper. On the Stamped Layer I created a black layer mask and then using brushes with white brushed back parts of the image to view. I duplicated that layer and using the transform tool reduced it in size and placed it on the canvas of the painter. I added a few flowers on the banking from a kit by Rosie H Designs. What a nice progression of new images this morning.......from what looks like two rather stormy scenes that Sepiana and I have created, to a rainbow after the storm and finally a beautiful day that has inspired the plain air artist. A beautiful edit Lillias ! |
