I also went for a nighttime look using CE 6. Added the couple from Image by OpenClipart-Vectors from Pixabay Oh I'm getting sort of Charles Dickens/Victorian vibes from this page Helen.

Jim - Good to see some Christmas cheer added to the scene. Father Christmas taking a break from his rounds. @lillias - Definitely very seasonal. The toning looks great. fotofrank - That adds a whole new dimension to the scene. Really good as usual. cats4jan - A good imaginative Christmas card Janice - thanks hmca - A good one Helen ..and the town is right. The second image showing the couple making their way up the street gives a real Dickensian look to the scene. Moto - I really like the way you process images Moto. This one is super. The baby in the second image looks so glad to be there. Sepiana - What can I say. Just love first image. So well processed and put together. The framed and tinted image equally admired. tonyw - The night owls taking a walk and looking very Christmasy Well done for changing the colour on one for them. kdcintx - That's a good idea. It makes a good Nativity picture. The colouring and lighting looks good PeteB - A good idea to progress the time to when all the Christmas lights have been turned off. A time when Santa really would deliver presents. Thanks for taking up the challenge. They are all a treat to look at
