YEAH! I got another 'star' and have been upgraded from new to casual!

Every time I make a post, I get a fast notice that I don't have permission to..... whatever it is that flashes by.... but then my post goes through. Any explanation of what is happening?

Hmm, I haven't heard that before Esther - are you able to provide a screenshot, or does the message disappear too quickly?

Simone, that has happened to me a number of times when I click on Post Quick Reply down on the left. Not when I click the Reply at top right.
It's so fast there is barely time to read it and then the post appears as usual.

Interesting as I get that message sporadically as well, but as my post always goes through I don't pay much attention to it. Next time I will try to get a screen shot of the message while it is displayed or at least write down what it says. It only flashes for a fraction of a second, so it might be hard to capture it.

I just received the message again while I was responding to a post. It said "You do not have permission to write to this key", but posts my message anyway.

I have never experienced this problem. I am not sure this is the reason but . . . I added our forum site to the "Compatibility View Settings" list. Most of the time this takes care of little quirks on a given website.
Command bar>Page>Compatibility View Settings>Add this website

Okay, I will reply to this message as I usually do quick ones, by clicking the "Post Quick Reply" in the bottom left of this text box. Then I will edit to let you know if the 'flasher' happens again.

Tom, I just got the popup again on the Endless Possibility thread. There is a code number below the text, but it was too fast to read. I will try to prepare myself not to look at the top of the thing next time.

I get this message too every time I post a comment. ahahha.....except this time of course when I posted, I did not get flashed! I came back in and edited this comment.
