Sepiana - I saved this photo using "save as" but it was fuzzy/OOF and shows a small pic. of only 395 X 319. Is there some setting I need to change or...? I also tried the 2 links you listed, i.e. Annette and Pixabay, hoping I might get an in-focus photo by d/l it directly that way but couldn't find it anywhere. Please advise. Thanks.

"Such a Cute Baby"
My own Scrub Jay image and snow baby by Pixabay. Also coated everything with Sepiana's B & W Sketch action.

Used the High Pass Filter on the image and blended with the Colour Burn blend mode. Duplicated that layer and reduced opacity to 60%. Added a sunset sky from MixPixBox and applied a vignette. Other additions from Hiclipart and clipartpng. Lillias, this is an eye-catcher! At first glance, it looks spooky. When we look again, we notice their faces. Hilarious!

Moto, great editing -- vibrant colors, and with a nod to the James Gang. The snowmen seem to be glowing; there is electricity in the air.

Thought they might like a fire (from pexels) on a cold winter day: Tony, you nailed the execution of your "thought". The fire looks like it was there from the start. Great blending!

kdcintx, great composite idea and execution! I envision it as an illustration for a children's book.
