Recently in Show Your Work I mentioned the raging ocean that we experienced. As you might imagine local photographers flooded FB and Instagram with their pictures. One of my friends just added a series to her photography website. Hers are some of the best I've seen......enjoy!

Very angry ocean shots, all taken from the shoreline I hope.

Helen, these are a two of the photos I got when we had a massive wind storm a couple of years back.....The force of the storm tossed logs from the ocean onto the shore like they were toothpicks!

I watched the slideshow a second time while playing "Mendelssohn: Fingal's Cave Overture (The Hebrides)". www.yout-ube.com/watch?v=zyZ5cHUaiBI The cresendoes suit these images. Kind regards Chris

Thanks for sharing these two dramatic ocean shots srmoment. I particularly like the first one with the birds. The viewer is drawn into the power and and movement. Kind regards Chris

Thanks Helen. Awesome photos. Love the red lighthouse photo. In June 2006, we were in Newfoundland and hit the tail end of tropical depression Alberto (2006).The waves were so "good" even locals came out to watch.

Glad you enjoyed them. Love the red lighthouse photo. Think that was just added today, Clive. It is a composite she created with one of her LH images. Really came out very well.
