using a mask to paint back some of the original area where the subject makes contact with the ground to avoid a disconnected look. I agree, Moto. I did think your first version sort of left the vase hanging out in space but adding the yellow table added realism to it and complemented the background and flower's colors. |

After seeing Tony's image in TP I had wanted to try it on an image that I had taken at Cannon Beach. However, that image was nowhere to be found. After seeing the one above I looked through that folder again and decided to try it on one of the haystacks. Maybe I should have used a bit more blur?   |
