Having had a recent Computer Hard Drive crash and (like everyone else) a million other things going on I haven't been here much of late or even taken many photos so it was a real NICE kick in the pants to carry out this Judging chore so that I am again exposed to the talent that surrounds us here.
Chesney's Reflections of Sprague Lake
This shot show what I love about recording nature as it is and adds a wonderful place to reflect on life.
angelag's fire flower
Those that know me know that I'm not a flowery person (except in Speech and Manner) but the Raw colours of this image are outstandings, the same people will verify my liking for colour.
Sargenta1's Key West Signpost
Thank Heavens this image had a title because much as I adored the patched together nature of this image, it seemed to be lacking a "You are HERE" reference - My type of real life shot.
Blackmutt's Shady Cat
Regardless of what was done to this photo in has created the epitome of what a cat is about, the camouflage of it's coat is perfect for dragging fish out of that stream or swooping on that bird that caught it's eye just as the camera clicked. Wonderful
srmoment's Terror on the Water
Was to my mind misnamed as I just see a Male acting the Goose to impress a Lady but I suppose I can be excused for having the Male Viewpoint here? Stunning shot , well presented.
Image of the Week
Tom's Flower Pot People
The whimsy and sheer fun of this blew me over at first sight it is beautifully conceptualized and executed right down to the Crow on the Bench Back. However for me was the breaking news that Bill of the Bill and Ben team was a girl. Congratulations Benjamin and Whillemina on the arrival of your Little'en.
I feel refreshed after perusing these wonderful images, a real Panacea for a lagging spirit! If Helen is unsuccessful at attracting new judges -then we all get to do it again more regularly.
What a Great Week,
Ron
