This pen is a very common object in our house! Dennis Dennis, great choice of a common object! The use of negative space in your composition and the spot-on focus keep our eyes on what it matters. The nod to a soccer club is a bonus. (I love soccer!!!)

I look at this every day. Matthew Matthew, so do many of us. Great interpretation of this theme! The use of light and the leading lines in this image draw our eyes to this common object.

Pete, this is a very common and popular object. Good job -- zooming in, capturing the details of this coffee mug.

Judy, it's a pity we can't see the "whole" dryer, a common object in households. But it is an impressive capture of its inside pattern.

I disagree - most homes have at least a dedicated space. It may not be it’s own room, but people call it their “office”.

Janice-you are envy of most home office dwellers!! Indeed, a common space with common objects ie computers. I've been fortunate - I've always had my own office - even if it was part of the spare bedroom. I've had the third bedroom as an office for 20 years. In the new house, this room is called a flex room and I've taken it over as a dedicated office. They can sell the house as a three bedroom because they put a tiny closet in the room, but the new name for this space is 'flex' Both of us have computers because I don't like to share. Instead of a bedroom set in the master bedroom, he has a desk and uses the file cabinets as night stands. There is a small dresser in the master closet for clothes. You can see what our priorities are.In fact, now - I have a Mac and he has a Windows computer. It's interesting to note how soon I forgot how to run Windows - even after using it for 25 years.
