Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Before I knew what this week's theme was, I happened to take this picture this morning. I was up earlier than usual and liked seeing the moon in the morning sky. So I have the moon, clouds and trees.
And then the sun in the evening sky.

Nature, in the form of the much despised common nettle, has defiantly established itself on the vertical wall of a man made water course. You have to admire it. i.ibb.co/PwBZMM0/WV.jpgBrenda

Fantastic assortment of nature images! Those are very unusual flowers, Clive. I especially like those and also your Raven in flight. Are its wings that silver in person or caused by the light reflection, etc. I always thought ravens and crows were totally black colored?

Are its wings that silver in person or caused by the light reflection Thanks for your kind words, Jim. Three-flowered avens has a nondescript flower but cool fluffy seed heads. You are correct ravens are jet black. However, the feathers will reflect iridescent colors if the sun angle is "right." In this case, it was (say) like a smooth ebony mirror surface tilted the right way. I was shooting toward the sun and in this shot it was tipped toward me. Sure, I did some work on Photoshop. Same bird and flight sequence. Here is was quartering away vs being directly in line with the sun.
