This wall clock is likely a German Kienzle. Date is uncertain my seems to be late 1800s. I brought it from England in 1981. Clive, this wall clock seems to be in pretty good condition for its age. Nice choice of a timepiece to fulfill this challenge! (And well-captured!)

Not a very strong shadow cast, but I can tell you it was 8:00 this morning. Thanks for the theme dennis9 and for hosting the challenge Sepiana. Bill, I was wondering if we were going to see a sundial. You delivered and did it well. This is a gem of a timepiece (with a nod to Robert Browning).

From last evening's walk - our local church tower boasts a fine timepiece, which is always reliable and accurate. Dennis Dennis, this is a detailed and sharp capture of a fine timepiece in a beautiful architectural setting. Great job!

Pete, Your first entry shows an interesting timepiece. I guess this is a Planisfere watch? Great job capturing its details. The innards of a hundred year old pocket watch Great idea and execution! Capturing the innards of this timepiece.

We have a few odd ways of telling the time - this photo was taken at 5.35pm August 21st 2024 (I cheated and added the year in PS) Tony, these are eye-catching timepieces. I keep going back to appreciate their "oddity". I've used a pic of the town hall clock before but it was a nice day and I had to visit the town hall so I took another photo: Glad you did. Great shot of this clock -- sharp and detailed.

The big clock at Waterloo Station in London faces four ways, so nobody misses their train,. Matthew Matthew, you found a station clock and a famous one to boost. Great shot -- zooming in to display its intricate details.

Surely London's most iconic timepiece - dear old Big Ben. (Personally I find the the sound of its chimes the most impressive.) Brenda Brenda, I was hoping to see this well-known British cultural icon and you delivered it in all its glory. Sharp and detailed shot!

An atmos clock requires only daily temperature and barometric changes to keep running
