I am having a play with pixelsquid with PSCC. I am just using the free version so after adding some objects tried to blend them in using Topaz, Simplify and Clean. The mother and baby were from Pixabay.

Hi Julie,
Thanks for the comment an NO I was no laughing at all. You and I probably followed the same technique (basically the little planet). I just intensified (MACPHUN plugin) it and removed the noise.

Hi Julie, Thanks for the comment an NO I was no laughing at all. You and I probably followed the same technique (basically the little planet). I just intensified (MACPHUN plugin) it and removed the noise. Oh, I didn't hear see any noise! I haven't developed a good eye for such things. Maybe in time I will learn. Well, I played around for sometime, once I'd thought to use polor coordinates. Then I decided to turn it all upside down and eventually got something kind-of resembling yours so I thoght I might be on the right track. However, I couldn't remember what I'd done so I started all over again!!! When Sepiana posted those links, things got considerably more productive So, it's your fault I've got this new addiction!!! Thanks Julie

I thought this starter image was a good candidate for the "Slats" effect.

This is nothing fancy -- just a tweaking on the triptych technique.
