Hello everyone, This week I will be hosting the EPC for Helen. I found this picture on morquefile for you all to play with. The photographers name is "GaborfromHungary" Sepiana, what a great image you had last week. Put your thinking caps on, and let's see what you all can come up with. But most of all, just have fun.
Click on the image for full size.

Thank you for this image. Quite a challenge to know what to do... I created a watercolour effect following one of davrodigital's video tuts and then put on a frame from one of the inbuilt frames in PSE.

I boosted the colors in Topaz Adjust and ran it through Topaz Clean. In Perfect Effects I used the Powerful Clouds Texture which made it look like the sun was filtering on the mountains and houses. Then I put it in Topaz Simplify/buzz sim and made some adjustments to my liking.

Each of these images is a keeper. It's amazing how using filters can enhance a photo or turn it into something entirely different. Great job, everyone.

Mike, thanks for this challenge! This starter image offers lots of possibilities.
- Ran the file through NIR Color. - Applied two snow overlays by Florabella. - Created the faded border effect with Filter Forge.

This image can be made crisper with the new shake removal tool of PSE14. Applied on a layer copy with 60% opacity. Then filter 'contours' and gradient map adjustment layer for the sepia look. Framing with the Elements+ script 'torn edges'. I like the old photo look.

Wow!, what a great collection of images. Do to some previous business commitments, I wasn't able to check this challenge out yesterday. But boy was I surprised when I looked at it this morning. Moto, BillieJean, Jim, Judy, Sepiana, and michelb, I love what you all have done. Almost every different kind of editing is shown here. It just goes to show the incredible talent that the members of this site has. Good job everyone, and lets see what else can be done with picture.

Simone - everyone's work is great, but I'm giving you the prize. This is so very cool and your fire looks so perfect. And I like the way you made his tail look as if part of it is behind the trees. Excellent.

Outstanding entries, every one. And I've been so slow getting around to it that every idea I considered has already been done so well that I don't dare to try a second version

Excellent. Thanks Janice, for some reason the photo reminded me of the movie The Hobbit and so I couldn't resist to try and introduce my very own Smaug.
