BillieJean - your method gives you more control in case you want to move the photo parts after clipping. I'm glad you presented this alternate method and the screenshots are very helpful. Like you said - so many ways to get the same result. _______________________ The question about one photo over multiple photo blocks got me thinking about one I did early on. That is one photo over all the photo squares of a template. I merged all the photo blocks from the template and clipped one photo to it. Of course, this won't always work with a pre-made template - hard to match a photo to all those photo blocks and have it come out that well, but it's always worth a try. You never know what your result will be. That is "pulled pixels" as the background. I was big into pulled pixels in those days.

I think I'll have to try this using one photo and many templates. Just have to find the right combinations.
