MOTO - That frame from the walkway is very cool. What a great idea.

BillieJean - that linear concept is what makes a more wood-looking frame, that's why I wanted to stress that idea. It's fun to try both ways to see what different looks you can achieve.
My example of pulled pixels probably has all the colors to make dozens of frames. I found it in my stash of stuff - made in 2007.
It looks like I have been pulling pixels all my "digital scrapbooking life."

Sepiana - missed your stained glass last time around. It looks fantastic. I no longer have that tutorial, but when I look through my stuff, I see when I used this technique to create some of my work. Wendy was a genius when it came to tutorials. Here's one where I used her tutorial

Janice your pulled pixels examples are great. Nice example of stained glass too and you have used lovely colours. I have that tutorial must give it a whirl and see what I can come up with, maybe even put a pulled pixel frame around it…lol

Well don't hold your breath while you are waiting Janice. I am finding it harder than I thought it would be. I have just managed to complete one design purely as an exercise in how to do it now I have to find something that might actually look nice framed...go through the whole process again and see what I end up with...

Well this is not as decorative as yours Janice and not exactly what I had in mind but for what it's worth here it is. Believe it or not that is actually a pulled pixel frame. Just not many colours in it but since I took the colours purely from the stained glass section – that is to say the leaves - that probably explains it. Flower embellie from G&T’s kit ‘Bloom’.

BillieJean- that is exquisite. I love everything about it - my favorite colors and an excellent stained glass treatment. It's actually more my style than the one I did.

Lovely, and I like the realistic leading around your glass To achieve that I put another copy of the original shape on top, lined it up, changed the black colour to the mid-grey colour and put a bevel on. Looking at it again I think I should have reduced the level of the bevel just a bit. It's all a learning experience. EDIT – I used the 'Simple Inner' bevel and the default size for that appears to be 21. I have now tried it again and size 7 seems better to me. I won't bother uploading again but I must remember this for future occasions.
