Some scrappers are into Grunge, Artsy, Minimalist, Bold and Bright, Shabby Chic, Whimsical, Journalistic – the list goes on - But there is another form of scrapbooking which I quite like and maybe you would too. It is quite simply taking a poem, song, quote, nursery rhyme etc; - in part or in whole - and scrapping it in a way that is pleasing to you. I will leave the subject matter up to you but here is one I have done to start us off… pics from pixabay bg from kit ‘Blue Lace’ by Julie West digitalscrapbookstudio Bear and crib from kit ’for baby’ by cajoline Mask by Cottage Arts

Wow you have been busy Janice. Love your St Patrick's Day page and also your Blue Moon page. Such lovely photos and I've learned something about blue moons… I hadn't heard of Keith Urban so had to go to YouTube and now I've both heard of, and heard him.

BillieJean - your newest layout is just up my alley. I love clever and fun pages. Great job with the muted background and shoe with the figures. __________________________________________________________ As for Keith Urban - I wore out his CD's - I loved him in the earlier 2000's - then his music changed and I didn't listen much. This was my BonJovi/Keith Urban days. One of my favorite Urban songs: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgV7RG9QgvkHere's the layout about the song (as you can see, I've always liked adding lyrics to my layouts - I think it elevates a layout to something more than just a collage of photos) photos by cats4jan taken at Summerfest Summerfest is a 10-day music festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Nice layout for this one Janice and great photos. I don't like big crowds myself consequently I've never been to a music festival but I have watched some on the TV from the safety of my armchair...lol.

This is entitled 'The Last Waltz' one of my favourites sung by Engelbert Humperdinck in the late 60's. Oh dear I'm showing my age… Papers and flowers from the Coral Accent kit by Lavender Designs Figures and musical notes from Soul Mates kit from Daisytrail.

Another cute one. Now you have me singing that song. I'll have to get working on another one. I have some new photos from my son. I'll go thru them and see if a song pops into my head. I don't really have a favorite song, just a bunch of artists whose songs I like.

What a perfect photo for that song. So cute. I especially liked the way you masked it.
