Now that I can't scan Twain in pse 14 what should I expect?

I believe this is one of the changes Adobe made starting with Elements 13. If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, you cannot scan directly into Elements using the TWAIN plug-in. You need to use WIA (Windows' built-in scanning system). On the other hand, if you have a 32-bit version of Windows, you can still use TWAIN for scanning.
If you have a 64-bit version of Windows and you don't want to use WIA, there is a workaround. Use your scanner's software and save your scans to a folder. This folder should be designated as a "watched folder" to allow your scans to easily get into the Organizer.
