Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE: The idea behind this challenge is to capture something (or someone) to fill in the blanks.

This old set of scales is part of the decor of the condo we are renting this week. Tomorrow we move on, so I hope to be able to find more "old" objects to photograph. Dennis

This old..... House. Two approaches: I may have more contributions before this week is over, because there is lots of old stuff around here.

Another look at the same house this evening as the sun was setting. I blended 3 exposures using the HDR module in Lightroom 6.

This old bear was given to me when I was born, so technically speaking it's still in its prime, just like me.... i.imgur.com/0JdBk3V.jpg

Even though I've tried new blueberry muffin recipes over the years, this old one remains our family favorite.

This old lorry has been put to different use and now moves on rails as a workhorse on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railway. We took a trip this afternoon from Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach and back. Had a great time! Brenda

This old steam engine is still working hard on the Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach run every day. The tourists love it and so do we, especially that whistle. Dennis

Back in the pre-electronic days we were still able to word process and do arithmetic in the good old mechanical way ... only human-power needed to operate - and they still work.

Dennis - What a finding! I love it! These scales are indeed a perfect example of "old". We don't see them around any more. Great shot! And your second entry? Simply beautiful! An old steam engine. I love it (and I love to hear its whistle as well)! It sounds so nostalgic.
Rick - Three different looks of this old house and all beautiful! I guess, if I had to pick one, I would go for the second image. Well done!
Jackie - Nicely done! Very sharp image, really showing the age of this little bear. Glad he is still around.
Helen - Great composition and depth of field! The way you used color coordination (shades of blue) took your image to another level.
Brenda - What an unusual finding! An old truck (lorry) and on rails? I really like how you composed your shot, with the rails on a diagonal slant across the image. Well done!
whippet - Great interpretation of This Old . . . -- a Victorian street of shops. Very sharp and detailed image. Well done!
Tony - What a couple of old jewels (typewriter + adding machine) you found to interpret this week’s theme! This is indeed a classic. Beautiful capture!

tourerjim,
Great interpretation of this theme; this is indeed an old shop. I really like the perspective (angle?) of your shot. Well done!

It turns out I'm in Cody, Wyoming. (One never knows, does one?) They have old stuff here!

Bill,
Oh! I wish I were there. I love Cody -- the Irma Hotel, the Buffalo Bill Center, the Buffalo Bill dam, etc. I have been there many times.
Isn't this the Old Trail Town? It is "old" at its best. Your image captured the beauty of it alright. Great composition! I love the colors -- they are so "western".
