Here's my latest creating, using the 7 panel template I made with the help of you, Sepiana, and youtube (I needed to re-learn how to do the clipping masks, lol!) You got it. Glad to help.
This thread seems to have taken a different direction from your original inquiry.
However, if I just want to keep the cut out framed picture and not the background one, how would I go about doing that? I know the background layer would need to be deleted somehow, yet when I delete the layer, I'm still left with a white background.
So, my question is . . . did the suggestions provided earlier work for you? Your input will help others who may have the same problem.

Wendy - that is really pretty. I think you found the fine line (no pun intended) between my too narrow outline and my too thick outline. Your outline is perfect.

Well, my original post was to "show my work", which then included a question. I probably should have separated the topics, sorry. I have not had time yet to work on the other issue; I'm hoping for a rainy weekend so I can play around at home.

Thanks! Just check which option will work best for your situation -- PNG, GIF, or "faking" transparency by using the JPEG format with a sampling of the color of the Web page background.
