Hi everyone,
Welcome to Photoshop Elements & More and to our first Weekly Photo Challenge! Would you like to participate in this challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.

Tom, great way to start this challenge! I love the details in this image. The little wooden sign is a bonus. Way to go!

Whilst strolling along the promenade and the marina in Ashkelon I saw this lovely grungy door complete with porthole on a boat:
This a door rather than a doorway but then I read one definition of doorway as ' a means of access' which this certainly is! Bayla

Bayla,
What a unique doorway/door! Great catch! I love its grungy look.
BTW, this was great thinking. Originally I was going to name this theme -- Doors or Doorways. You read my mind.

Nice one Tom...and I love the addition of the PSE&More sign! Love the grungy details of your door Bayla! Here is my door, although you can't easily access it. OldMarketApt by tammymcchesney, on Flickr

Is that door high up the wall Tammy? If so you'd have to be a Romeo to scale the ivy!

Tammy, great capture! I love the contrasting colors. Well done!
I am curious. Is this building abandoned?

thanks Bayla and Sepiana! Yes the doorway is high up...wondering if there was a deck there at one time? And no Sepiana...it is occupied, there is another entrance on the other side of the building

Beautiful doors/doorways everyone. I have caugth one myself, but I haven't got it off of my memory card yet.
Tammy, it could have been the home of Sleeping Beauty. Isn't that what's called a french door? There's some kind of rail there.

You are absolutely right Madame...I can totally see birds and butterflies flying all around the door with a princess inside!
