Well, that's very cool! I am curious as to why it makes a difference what the underlying OS is, however. How did it ever occur to you that it would?!
I tried Moto's suggestions using Windows 10. (Thanks, Moto!) They work!!! However, I was curious why it would work on Windows 10 but not on Windows 7. I believe this explains why . . .

As a side note because it doesn't affect the op's requirements since only images are involved, the outputted pdf file when printing to a pdf file will not have any working links you might have in your document. The link text will be printed but it won't work as normal html hyperlinks. If your application has a "Save As PDF" option then the links should be saved as hyperlinks in the pdf file. So there is a difference between printing to and saving as a pdf file.

Hi all. Elements XXL 4 from the plugin site can save multi page PDF's and integrates itself into Elements which makes it simple to use. It's not cheap though but in my opinion worth it.

Out of curiosity I tried to download the free cutePDF. During installation it forced me to make tecoma my browser's home page before it would continue. It then told me that cutePDF must run with another utility (PS2PDF or something similar) and asked my permission to download and install it automatically. I clicked Yes but then immediately cancelled it because I would not have the opportunity to scan the "extra" utility for viruses, trojan horses etc before installing it. Sorry you had trouble with the install of CutePDF. FWIW, I didn't run into any of that when I installed it.

Sorry you had trouble with the install of CutePDF. FWIW, I didn't run into any of that when I installed it. Nor I when I gave it a whirl. I have run into some sites offering various downloads that seem to bundle the offered program with their own set of payloads. That is a big warning sign!

I downloaded onto my "testing" computer the free version of cutePDF Writer from www.cutepdf.com/The computer is running Win 7 Home Premium SP1. As I mentioned earlier, I aborted the download when I saw I wasn't going to be able to scan the "extra" utility it said it must have before running it. When I scanned the initially downloaded installation .exe before running it, it came up clean of viruses etc.

On Google there are numerous websites from which you can download cutePDF. The one thing I noticed is that the file size of the downloaded file is different on most sites. I don't see why that should be so if all the contents are clean and legitimate. Which web site did you two download your cutePDF's from? I always try to download applications from the manufacturer's website (as described in previous post) rather than from a 3rd party site where it is more likely that downloaded files might not always be 100% legitimate.

I did a little further investigating. Yep, me too. It seems that this may no longer be a trustworthy program: It is indeed fortunate (for some of us) that Windows 10 makes all these products (PDFCreater, CutePDF, PrimoPDF, etc) unnecessary!

yes that is true, but I see most if not all of the web sites you can download cutePDF from advertise it as Windows 10 ready even though it is essentially redundant for Win 10.
There are still many people who are not aware of the PDF writer in Win 10 and so will unwittingly download at least a free version when they don't really need to. Given that most of the file sizes of the installation exe are different across the various web sites I believe there must be "hidden extras" in at least some of them whether there is any sign of them during installation or not. Given you didn't have the same experience as I did when testing cutePDF there might still be a possibility you downloaded some of these "undocumented extras".

I downloaded my copy directly from CutePDF, but it was probably close to two years ago. If they've started bundling stuff more recently (which is a shame) that would explain the difference in our experiences.
