Here is a pic of the set-up I use. I catch snowflakes on a pane of glass, look for a good specimen, and take the image. I learned of this technique from a fellow photographer on the PentaxForums.com website and this is the image he posted of his set-up. This is my first try using this arrangement and is still a work in progress. What purposes do the paper-towel tube and coffee-can lid serve ? Is the camera somehow attached to that upright piece of 2x6 ?
