This is a view to the ceiling of Customs House in Sydney. It is comprised of windows in the form of glass panels and is currently adorned with streamers as part of the Festival of Sydney celebrations taking place this month.

Finally the rain stopped and the fog cleared and I was able to venture out with the camera and find some windows. Didn't have to go far as there are a lot of Victorian windows locally although many are facades - they may or may not be real windows. I took these from the street and use Transform in Lightroom to correct perspective. I like seeing things straight on Tony Tony, great finding (and perfect perspective correction)! I really like the second image, with the windows showing their "age". Well done!

This beautiful rose window once adorned the Great Hall of the Bishop of Winchester's palace in Southwark. For many years the remnant of the magnificent medieval palace was hidden by adjacent buildings and only came to light following a fire in the 19th century and further redevelopment in the 1970's. Its glass long gone, it is still a wonderful window into the past.
