This work is a 14 foot, 7,000 pound sculpture called Continuum. Created in 1975 to commemorate the nation's bicentennial. There are twenty square cube faces, one for each decade of the bicentennial. I forgot to mention that sitting on the top right side of the sculpture is the first robin I have seen this year.
Bob, great finding! A beautiful sculpture (and one with history to go along with it). Well done! And, yes, the robin is a bonus.
As a side note -- I saw the first robin of the year yesterday afternoon.
