I am certainly impressed with the images that have been submitted this week. I thought I was being selective on my first round but ended up with 11 images! Narrowing that down to five was not easy. After having made my selections I looked back and realized that my choices were based on an emotional connection . I hope they speak to you as well.

Seemingly alone surrounded the the beauty of Nature I think this couple and their dog serves as a reminder of those moments that I hope most of us have experienced.

An eery image with layers of interest be sure to read about the process involved in creating this image.

I love the story, the light, the way the chimp is surrounded by the vegetables, holding on to the rope and looking down with his raised little feet. Beautifully processed to bring out all of those elements, it is my choice for PSE&M’s first IOW!

Wow Congratulations Madame on image of the week. This is my first time viewing this photo and it is fantastic.

Well deserved choices. I really don't know how you narrowed it down - every time someone posted a picture I thought 'Yes! That's the IOW!' Glad I wasn't judging.

Wow, just Wow, for the IOW selections. I was looking at the ones submitted and thinking.... I'm glad it is someone else this week. What a group to choose from....
