I will be happy to answer any further questions Andrei, thanks for being so helpful! It is truly appreciated.
BTW, I installed Elements+ 2018 yesterday. I have been testing the RAW corrections. I have to say . . . I am impressed!!! I particularly like this . . .
For a 8-bit image, the result appears as a new layer in the same document. It's made it just for users' convenience. (for result comparison, partial masking, etc.) * If you edit a 16-bit image, the result opens as a separate document. * And even if you edit a 8-bit image, you can re-open it in 16-bit mode, as shown in this video: youtu.be/sIGKLOgwl3Q?t=250

Thanks Andrei, I thought I had answered your post acknowledging your explanations. So, that filter is even better than what I did imagine . For some reason, my answer was not saved... so, let me stress again that that I urge other users to test the feature by themselves like I am going to do and watch the videos. Thanks again for the precious tools you are providing.

Michel - Your post does indeed appear, as the first post at the top of this page. OOPS... Yes. I know why. I scrolled down to the bottom of the first page, and did not check if there was a second page.

I find Elements+ absolutely amazing and mind blowing, especially considering the extra features and functionality you get for the low, low price.
Yesterday I installed the latest version in my PSE 14 after receiving an email notification of the updated version. Without thinking I installed Elements+ on top of the old version in PSE without deleting the old version. Elements+ seems to be working ok and I paricularly like the updated RAW Corrections.
For future reference when upgrading an old version of Elements+, is the old version supposed to be deleted first or does it not matter?

Bailey, Uninstalling the older version is not necessary.

Norton Security does not like your file. I had to temporarily disable it to install the update.

To make sure it's just a false alarm, I recommend checking your download link with VirusTotal: www.virustotal.com/I believe, 60+ anti-viruses must be better then just one. VirusTotal is a subsidiary of Google. More about VirusTotal: www.virustotal.com/en/about/

I also have Norton Internet Security. I made two installations of Elements+ 2018. NIS said the file was safe (in both installations).

What I wrote on my post from October 16th: Just a note about the update for Elements 15: I had a problem with my Avast Premium antivirus. They checked the file and finally recognized the file as reliable this morning.

Perhaps, they gather statistics for new files. At least, Windows Smart Screen works this way: any new EXE file on the Net is supposed to be a threat until it achieves certain number of downloads/installs.
