Rita, thanks for sharing this! I have also used Preset Viewer Argus for many years; I have it installed on both Windows 7 and Windows 10. I highly recommend this utility.
If anyone is interested, that's what you get once you have installed this utility.

Cheers Rita - thanks for the tip off. Appears to be a great tool. I think I will purchase it.

I just purchased this and it is awesome! I have a number of brush files, so it is wonderful to see what is inside each one of them without having to load them in PSE.

Rita, even before I got Preset Viewer Argus, I was able to view document files and PDF files without opening them. All I did was to turn on the Preview pane in Organize>Layout.

Sepiana, I never knew that. Perhaps because I've had Argus such a long time, I think before WIN 7. I also had an earlier version of it, the name of which I can't remember.

Rita, I don't think this ability to preview document files and PDF files has anything to do with Argus. The Preview pane is a Windows feature. As a matter of fact, Argus is using it. You can do a little testing. Turn off the Preview pane, for example, for your Goodies (brushes, layer styles, etc.). You won't see the preview thumbnails. Turn the Preview pane back on and you will see Argus "at work".

Sepiana, I'm sure you are correct. I knew that Argus needs the Preview Pane to be turned on. I just never turned it on without Argus.
