Take a look at today's Google Doodle. They've joined the Challenge
If they had added this forum's name, look at the publicity. Your summery image is really cheery, and warming, BJ. Especially as it is snowing a blizzard here - first of the winter. The mother and daughter are really enjoying themselves. I adore old fashioned lampposts, and would like that bench in my garden. I don't think your girl is sad, hmca. The rainbow probably means that there has been rain, so she will be pleased that she won't have to get her watering can out. It is a lovely picture, and the colours blend so well. If I had seen these pictures before I made mine, I may have tried something different. Do I get any points for effort? Free frame. Images from Pixabay. Background - duvet cover off my bed. Winter, spring and summer.

Unfortunately we probably won’t be far behind you with the snow whippet. It certainly feels cold enough although the sun is shining today (so far).
I love your wiggly frames and you have depicted very nicely the varying seasons which is really in tune with the quote. I think that quote has a kind of ‘circle of life’ feel to it and again you have shown that by showing different seasons.

Thanks for the nice comment, Lillias.
Margaret.....you created a wonderful page....for all the reasons that Lillias already mentioned.....I also love your accent color....one of my favorite shades of blue.

Thank you both very much. It is the first time I have tried anything like this.
Re. the 'wiggly frame', BJ, I was sure that I had a lot of frames downloaded. But can I as heck find them. So when I went looking again, this was the narrowest I could find.
As far back as I can remember, hmca, blue and green were always my favourite colours - especially Wedgewood blue.
My new girl really loved the snow, I have not seen so much action from her. I worry about their legs, as they so easily break.

Nice layout for your photo Janice. I love that embellie bottom right and also the hanging baskets in your photo. I like to see nice gardens but I don't like the work involved in making them and keeping them like that...lol.

I wonder if my imagination will ever stretch to anything like that. Another brilliant one. @ Billie Jean. That is why my garden is mostly shrubs, bushes and ornamental grasses. Along with the fact that I cater for the wildlife . . . . and 4 dogs.

I prefer doing layouts using psd templates - because, like you - I don't have much of an imagination, either.
The psd templates are layered so one can easily clip a background paper/photo to any of the squares. Plus, with layered templates, you can delete anything you don't like - or replace it - or move it - or enlarge it. Some of the fussy templates I use end up looking nothing like the originals after I've deleted so many of the items on the templates.
This template was used pretty much as designed - after I turned it on it's side. See above - I posted the diagram of the template next to the finished result. One seldom gets diagrams of the template, but for some reason, this person provided the drawing as the first layer.
BTW - We haven't planted new flowers in that area since. LOL My husband isn't into gardening anymore - I've never been. We haven't even purchased baskets for our pole - mainly because they need to be watered twice a day during the extreme heat of the summer and we are just too lazy to do it.
