I finally got most of the people tags done on my 72k photos (whew). So my issue is, when I edit my photos, I save them as a copy so as not to overwrite my originals. When I do, the copies no longer have any people tagged like the original. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this normal. Thanks, Roger  |

I have this same issue. Any word from Adobe on how avoid this issue.

Hi herb, welcome to PSE&M! Glad to have you here.
Speaking for myself, I have got no word from Adobe on this issue. The person most likely to know about this would be Michel B, a member here and an Adobe Community Professional/MVP. I will bring this thread to his attention.
I also have PSE 2018 but I am not a "heavy" user of the Organizer. I basically use it for troubleshooting purposes. I have not encountered this problem because I only use the Keyword tags; I don't use the People, Place and Events tags.
I was on the Adobe forum earlier this morning and came across a thread you posted there. I am posting the link here. This will help with the troubleshooting.
